For Families

For Early Childhood Educators

  • We provide support to Johnson County early childhood educators in developing professional, child-centered programs. This support includes, but is not limited to: state regulations, nutrition, child development and behavior, infant care, and meeting quality indicators. Our workshops and early childhood institutes/conferences will help you meet your professional development hours for your DHS registration or license. Check out the section for Child Care Providers for information on our workshops and early childhood institutes!!!
  • We administer the Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) to home-based child care programs in Johnson County.
