Crisis Child Care
Crisis Child Care of Johnson County provides short-term, emergency child care for ages 0-12 years when families facing crisis are not able to provide regular care.
Programs for the Childcare Workforce Development
We support Johnson County early childhood educators in developing professional, child-centered programs. This support includes, but is not limited to: state regulations, nutrition, child development and behavior, infant care, and meeting quality indicators and any other business supports to remain a viable business. We administer the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to home-based child care programs in Johnson, Cedar, and Clinton County. We provide additional support to those interested in being a part of Starting Strong.
